This is strictly my fitness blog. Where I'll write about workouts, progress, and my music playlists that keep me moving! Visit regular tumblr here.
Feel free to follow me if you are striving to be a happy healthier person :) I will follow you back if you have those goals too! I want to be fit, healthy, and in the best hape of my life! I want to be able to look in the mirror and be happy. I'm just a twenty-something striving for fitness.
I believe in encouraging one another, so if you get random messages from me.. that's why! :) My posts tend to be encouragement through talking. A few motivational pics here and there too.

So if you haven’t noticed from my fitblr, I believe in encouragement. It is hands down the best way to keep someone motivated imho. So each Tuesday I am going to post a tip that has helped me. Whether it is a tip to stay motivated or eat healthier. I want these to be something you read and can go, “Yes, I can do that!”
My tip for today.
DO NOT LET OTHERS DISCOURAGE YOU ON A HEALTHY JOURNEY TO WEIGHT LOSS.
I have had friends/family say, “You don’t need to lose weight” and give me an eye roll. Comment that it’s kind of silly I am passing up dessert, a hot dog, french fries, etc. Or that I’m crazy for working out an hour a day or that they could never do “Turbo Fire” (for example) because they would feel stupid because it’s too dancy.
And some times it makes me feel belittled, like somehow I am doing the wrong thing by trying to be healthier.
I know deep down that is not their intention, but it can be discouraging. So my tip for the day is do not let other people’s negative attitude discourage you. Instead encourage them to lead a healthier lifestyle by leading it yourself first.
